PRIVACY POLICY

Your privacy and the protection of your personal information is important to us. Your personal information is required to register you with Skate Canada in any capacity, including, without limitation, as a Skate Canada registrant, coach or in connection with your affiliation with a skating club or skating school and to administer various services, such as Skate Canada events. Your personal information may also be exchanged with Skate Canada affiliates which includes your local skating club or skating school or provincial association or section. By submitting this form, you expressly provide your consent to the sharing of your personal information with Skate Canada and as described herein for purposes of registration and receipt of national services delivered by Skate Canada. We adopt the 10 Fair Information Principles into our privacy program, and employ reasonable measures to protect against unauthorized access, processing, disclosure, alteration, destruction or loss of your personal information. PAYMENT POLICY

All payments must be made via credit card or by e-transfer. E-transfers must be received prior to your skater stepping on the ice and we expect to receive them within 24 hours. Skaters are not allowed on the ice until the account has been paid in full. The exception is for KidSport NB, Pro-Kids & Jumpstart registrations: please ensure you email the club the approval you received and indicate what organization is paying for your skater in the note section when your register.

WAIVER

RIVERVIEW SKATING CLUB, ITS BOARD MEMBERS & SKATE CANADA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INJURY, LOSS OR DAMAGE OCCASIONED BY MEMBER WHILE TRAVELLING TO OR PARTICIPATING IN SKATING PRACTICES, COMPETITIONS OR OTHER ACTIVITIES.

PHOTO POLICY

I grant permission for the Riverview Skating Club to use any photos/videos taken of me(or my dependant) for the purpose of promoting Riverview Skating Club programs including, but not limited to, on our website, our bulletin board or on social media.

REFUND POLICY

  • The annual Skate Canada Fee is non refundable. This expires August 31 of each year.

  • Registration fees are non refundable for missed classes, vacations and other commitments.

  • If a skater is unable to attend for an extended period of time/ remainder of season due to an injury or illness, a request for consideration can be emailed for a potential credit or refund. All requests are to be emailed to riverviewskatingclub@gmail.com. Refunds are not guaranteed, and will not be issued for absences such as vacations or conflicts with other activities a skater may be involved in.

  • Sessions missed for unforeseen circumstances will not be refunded or replaced (power outages, winter storm etc.) Registration fees are season fees.
